I think they should have read the guide to getting people to read guides to getting people to read comics before they published this.
The art for this entry is pretty good. There just should have been more of it, and less speech balloons. It's interesting that this comic was done by women. Good to know that women can make comics just as stupid as any man. Progress! I'm also in total agreement about Sailor Moon, which has been the gateway drug of choice for many a girl with regards to comic book reading and anime. I've been a Sailor Moon since 1996 and I've loved every minute of it.
Oh, it's written (and drawn, assuming "scott" is the artist's real first name) by a guy. The writer is apparently some bodybuilder who's written for fitness magazines so let's hope he doesn't decide to visit any roid rage upon Mister Kitty.Though now that you mention it, few if any of the comics on our list are by females. Even given the fact that comics has always been a sausage fest, it seems odd that at least a few women haven't written something amusingly dumb enough to be featured here.
The only female-cartoonist Stupid Comics that come to mind are the "Model With A Broken Heart" and the "Fantastic Feature Films" one with the axe-executioner -both are by Tarpe Mills. I'm sure there have been some ladies involved in other features, but so many comics aren't credited, especially old ones...
How many Blambot fonts did they swipe?
