Hey, fellow teenagers! If you're a teenager like me, and I think you are, you'll enjoy this week's zoovie Stupid Comics!


  1. I noticed that the Bunny comic uses the word "zoovy" a lot. Was that ever a real word or was it just a bastardized version of groovy that the middle aged men who wrote and drew Bunny made up to seem cool? I'm going with the latter.

  2. Hal Jackson was black. The guy in the comic looks like he was MEANT to be black, but then the colorist decided to fix that.

  3. Marko, excellent point. I found this out myself when I looked up "Hal Jackson DJ" and learned that he was, in fact, African American. Not that the comic indicated that.

    On the 5th page of "Honey in Tandem", there's a drawing of a couple that was clearly intended to be white, but the colorist gave them some extra melanin, making them sort-of... black?
